Prayers to the Roberts family. Derek was a kind soul. He was a beloved friend and a great JFL coach. We send hugs your way.

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with the Roberts family. Thursday 7-18-24 Derek Roberts passed away. Derek fought a hard fight against brain cancer. God Speed Derek!!!!

Our racing team loss a great man yesterday! Dj will be greatly missed. He was always there to lend a hand on the race car and provide laughter when needed. He was also the loudest in the stands, always cheering on all his favorite drivers!! He will be greatly missed. We would like to dedicate our 2024 race season to Richard Booth aka Dj. We will be adding ribbons to our car. For every $5 donated we will add a ribbon to the car and make a donation in Dj's name. If you would like to donate please contact a member of our race team.

Good Afternoon Raider family! One of our own is in need of some help. As many of you know Coach Derek Roberts has been battling brain cancer for the last 17 years with reoccuring tumors coming back every few years. It's been a crazy up and down battle for his family. Recently, it's been more down hill than not. The new tumor growth is inoperable and not responding to treatment as it should. Over the last several months, Derek has lost the ability to talk and use the right side of his body leaving him disabled. His wife Ashley, our head team mom is the sole breadwinner for their family, but has had to take alot of time off to care for him. Derek has been a coach for the EPJFL for 13 years and a board member for 12 years. If anyone would like to donate to help, you can stop by any Cefcu and tell them you would like to donate to the "Roberts Family Fund".
