🌸Spring Volleyball Open Gyms Are Almost Here!

These blizzard conditions have me thinking about spring! It’s almost time to get back in the gym and start preparing for the upcoming season! We’re excited to announce Spring Open Gyms for girls currently in grades 7–12, at Manistique M/HS, happening every other Sunday in April and May.

These sessions are a great opportunity to get touches on the ball and compete with teammates and players across the program. As we prepare for the ‘26 season, these open gyms are an important part of the process.

We strongly encourage players to attend as often as possible — the work you put in now helps set the tone for the season ahead. Let’s get better together! 🔥💚

Most importantly, it’s a chance to get in the gym, have fun, and build excitement for the future of our program!

🏐💪 National Girls & Women in Sports Day 💪🏐
Today we celebrate the strength, confidence, and leadership of girls and women in sports. Founded in honor of Olympic volleyball player Flo Hyman, this day reminds us why equal access and opportunity matter.

On and off the court, sports empower athletes to lead, inspire, and break barriers. We’re proud to be part of a game that builds strong women and future leaders.

✨ End of Season | Volleyball Awards Banquet ✨

What a night celebrating an incredible season with an even more incredible group of athletes. So proud of our players for their hard work, commitment, and growth—on and off the court.

A huge THANK YOU to our parents and families for the endless support, time, and energy you give to this program. We couldn’t do this without you.

Once a team, always a team. 💚

Looking forward to building the ‘26 Team!

Parents, if you want to show your daughters something worth watching from the NCAA Tournament, show them Andi Jackson from today’s match against Texas A&M.

She’s arguably the most dominant player in the country and a Player of the Year finalist. Today, she had an off day and was ultimately replaced by a freshman.

Why does this matter for our girls?

1. Even the best have off days and even the best get benched.

Let that sink in- If your daughter dominates a tournament and then ends up on the bench when the team struggles, it does not mean the coach hates her or suddenly thinks she is not good. It means the coach is making decisions for the team in that moment.

2. Watch what she did after she sat-

Jackson did not sulk. She did not disengage.

She stayed locked in, smiling, cheering, and fully invested in her teammates. I am sure it hurt. But she focused on what the team needed from her right then.

3. The real masterclass came after the loss.
She handled it with total grace, smiling, congratulating Texas A&M, and showing respect in the handshake line.

Mad respect for Andi Jackson. We already knew she is one of the best players in the country. Today showed she is also an elite teammate and an even better person.

That is the standard. 💪🏐
