What an AMAZING night of field hockey!

A huge thank you to Jerome Dekeyser for sharing his knowledge, experience, and passion with our SYR athletes tonight!

Our players worked on body mechanics, field hockey IQ, generating more power in their passes, and of course… the drag flick! 🔥

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from an athlete and coach with Jerome’s level of expertise. Experiences like this are invaluable, and we love being able to bring opportunities like these to our SYR players.

9 weeks. 8 incredible college programs. Countless opportunities to learn. 🏑

Another unforgettable season of the SYR College Coaches Clinic has come to a close, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Every Tuesday this summer, our athletes had the privilege of learning from collegiate coaches representing Roberts Wesleyan, Hartwick, SUNY Oswego, Ithaca, William Smith, Utica, Alfred University, and SUNY Geneseo. Each coach brought a unique perspective, new drills, and a passion for developing the next generation of field hockey players.

This clinic is about more than preparing for the fall season, it’s about creating opportunities. Our athletes not only sharpen their skills but also have the chance to showcase their talent, work ethic, and coachability in front of college coaches.

To every coach who gave their time, energy, and expertise, thank you! Your impact reaches far beyond one evening on the turf, and we are incredibly appreciative of your commitment to growing the game.

🌟 Huge congratulations to two of our own, Hayley Murphy and Kylan Smith! 🌟

This week, Hayley and Kylan attended the 4-day ESU Field Hockey Camp, where they trained alongside more than 200 athletes from across the region.

Their hard work, skill, and determination stood out, as both were selected to the Camp All-Star Team, an honor reserved for just 22 players. They capped off an incredible week by competing against the current ESU Field Hockey team.

We couldn’t be more proud of the way these two represented SYR. Congratulations, Hayley and Kylan! Keep chasing greatness, we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

🏑 That’s a wrap on our 2026 College Coaches Clinic Series! 🏑

A huge THANK YOU to Geneseo Field Hockey for leading our final session tonight. The drills, competitions, and energy made for an incredible ending to an amazing summer. Our athletes had a blast while learning from another outstanding collegiate program!

To our entire SYR family, thank you for your hard work, commitment, and dedication all summer long. Watching each of you grow as players and teammates has been something special, and we couldn’t be more proud of the progress you’ve made.

Now it’s time to take everything you’ve learned and bring it to your high school season. We wish every one of our athletes the very best this fall. Compete hard, support your teammates, and represent SYR with pride.

We’ll be cheering you on from afar… and we’ll see you all back in November for another exciting indoor season!

🔥 What. A. Night. 🔥

Our first Sunshine Showcase tryout is officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more excited about the talent that stepped onto the turf tonight. The level of skill, effort, and competitiveness was incredible, and it’s clear that something special is being built at SYR.

We’re assembling elite U16 & U19 teams to represent SYR at the 2027 Sunshine Showcase at ESPN Wide World of Sports, and these athletes are ready to make history.
