JOAD weather update

With the forecasted lightening, we will be cancelling the Pre-Joad move up class (6-7pm signups)

For the 6-8pm JOAD classes, we will likely be moved indoors for shooting/form/setup.

Unfortunately cannot fit the full group indoors at once.

This week will be our final set of classes held indoors.

Beginning May 26, JOAD classes (7pm and 8pm lines only) will combine into one class running from 6–8pm for the outdoor season. We are planning June 30 as last class.

We will also be reaching out by email to select Pre-JOAD (6pm class) shooters who are close to moving up. Those archers will receive an invitation for 6–7pm outdoors as trials for the upcoming season.

Congrats to our Leo’s JOAD winners from NYSAA Indoor State Championship!
11 from Leo’s JOAD attended and all 11 made the podium in their divisions, statewide! Hope to see even more shooters next year!

Excellent News! Combined Indoor States results are finally in and posted to

Super proud of our Leo’s shooters!
Of the 11 Leo’s JOAD shooters that competed, all 11 finished in a podium spot, statewide…..and 7 of those are 2026 Champions in their respective division!
Also, congratulate Sara when you check in on Tues, she took third in the adult+ female recurve division.

I didn’t realize signups were not posted until now for tomorrow’s classes on 4/7.

There will be no archery on 4/14, we’ll be at Gator Cup!

Late post, but wanted to thank all that came down to West Falls Conservation Society to shoot NYSAA indoor states.
We had a great time and especially nice to see the crowd of shooters that Allied JOAD and Archery club brought.
Hope everyone makes it to outdoor states.

Queens archery is hosting the final event this weekend, so would expect the overall standings to be posted soon after (we’ll post a link as soon as we see them too).
