UPDATE: ELCO Boys Soccer just shared a post and here is the best part... "I am happy to report that Luke is recovering at home, doing well, and has his appetite back…and if you know Luke, that’s a great sign!"
Last night during the Varsity Boys Soccer game, the ELCO Boys Soccer goalkeeper suffered an injury and had to be taken by ambulance. In the middle of an intense, highly competitive match, both teams immediately set competition aside and joined together on the field for a player-led prayer. It was a powerful reminder that sportsmanship, compassion, and unity always come before the game. Please keep the ELCO goalkeeper, their team, and their community in your thoughts and prayers.
