Congratulations Erb Mennonite Red on winning the AL Title! Erb Red captured its 10th playoff championship in 15 years, topping Erb Mennonite Gold 17-16 on Tuesday, Aug. 25, to win the best-of-five American League series three games to one. The series pitted two teams from the same church, the first time that has happened in the league since 1983 when two Chiques teams met in the finals. (Two White Oak teams did play for the National League title in 2014.) It marked the 12th straight year Erb Red has played for the league crown. For Erb Gold, the regular-season champs finished their season 19-10.

Congratulations Newport Dove Blue on winning the NL Title! Newport polished off a 7-1 playoff run by sweeping Crossway in their best-of-five playoff series, capturing the National League championship with a narrow 18-16 victory on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The regular-season champs averaged 18.0 runs per game in their eight playoff games. The NL title is Dove Blue's second crown in four years. For Crossway, it was making its first championship game appearance since joining the league in 2023.

Both championship series will get underway tonight! It’ll be Erb Gold vs. Erb Red in the American League and Crossway will face the winner of Dove Blue vs. LCBC as they wrap up with game 3 of their series in the 8:15 slot tonight.

6:30 - Erb Gold vs. Erb Red
7:15 - Erb Gold vs. Erb Red
8:15 - Dove Blue vs. LCBC
9:15 - Crossway vs. winner of 8:15 game

Come out for a great night of food, fellowship and softball this Monday night at the Pool Field. All of the food at our amazing food trucks will be by donation as we raise money to renovate the bleachers at the Pool Field. We hope to see you there!
