Another immensely successful day at the Limelight Showcase Tournament! U16s (unpictured because they had to run off to their clinics) finished in third in the top pool, missing out on a gold medal game appearance by 1 goal. U14s (playing only back to backs games!) came in 2nd (3-1) in the mega top pool, defeating PA United, Beasties and Horizon. And U19s, in the final appearance in a Blue Lions kit for Ahleah Prybyla and Alleigh Caruso, finished in style, dominating the A pool with a 4-0 record, highlighted by a thrilling 4-3 win over PA United to bring home Limelight gold! And more importantly than any hardware, all thirty four players spanning 12 school districts across the region were able to showcase their skills for dozens of college coaches, some who have already contacted us liking what they saw!
Across all 5 age groups and two days, Blue Lions brought home gold at U10 and U19, silver for U12 (pool champs) and U14 and a third place for U16 at the Limelight Showcase Tournament. On the backs of all 5 teams winning gold just a week ago, it's truly been a spring season for the ages. is what we've done for over 20 years...and we're just getting started.
