Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing swim moms!

I don't remember what my time was, whether I was happy, angry, or apathetic about the result, or even if the race hurt; what I do remember is that I drew strength from my mother who was over a thousand miles away but still thinking about me and eager to hear how I swam.

Hello Swim Families!

Tomorrow begins our summer practice schedule! It is 10 weeks of training, comradery, and fun!

The Blue and Platinum groups will be in the water starting at 5:45 am each morning, Monday through Friday. Practices will be finished by 8:00 am each morning. Bring tennis shoes and shorts and a t-shirt for dryland! Dryland will occupy the final 20-30 minutes of practice and will consist of core and body weight exercises.

The gates to City Pool will open at 5:30 am. Please be ready to get in the water at 5:45 am.

The Masters group will also have a lane during the 5:45 - 8:00 am timeslot, though Masters is come-and-go, and "every set is a suggestion," as we say in the USMS community!

White, Minnows, and Summer League will begin at 10:50 am and be finished by 11:50 am.

Masters swimming is BACK! All adults interested in swimming with the Manhattan Marlins are encouraged to join us this summer! Practices will be held from 5:45 - 8:00 am at City Park Pool in Manhattan. Swimmers may come and go as they please during that time. Workouts will be provided, though as we say in Masters Swimming, “every set is a suggestion!”
