As functional human beings, we should be able to sit, stand, hang, squat, bend, twist and move throughout life without pain. No matter what level you are, our goal is to help you perform, look and feel your best; we do this using different modalities, such as various body weight disciplines & traditional strength training methods. At Train P3, we care more about the quality and complexity of your

movement than how many calories you will burn or isolating the muscles you want to chisel. If you want to lose fat, gain muscle, look your best and believe in achieving it through well rounded, intelligent, movement-based training, Train P3 is for you! About the Founder Nerijus Bagdonas:

A long distance student asked today: "How far should my hands be when I do mixed grip pull ups and chin ups?" And I accidentally went into a rant:
"Stand under the bar in anatomical position, (arms down, hands supinated so that palms are facing forward) stay supinated and flex your elbow like you are doing a bicep curl (whatever the natural groove is, don't force it to keep specific alignment, just flex your arms). When you reach the top of the bicep curl, extend your arms and reach for the pull up bar. Don't force it to stay same distance apart, hands might slightly separate. That is your ideal and most gentle position for the shoulders. Doesn't mean you can't do other grips or use disadvantaged positions - you should! But this one is the most natural. It's like the squat in the athletic stance. Doesn't mean you can't sumo or squat with feet together or legs crossed or knees caving in, or knees as far forward as possible, but you will be most strong in that position. Also realize that doing things only in the ideal positions, will not make you stronger in the disadvantaged positions. Life doesn't occur in perfect alignment, so train yourself to be strong outside of ideal alignment too. Also if you always squat, push or pull in the same way, it's almost like you are causing an overuse injury. As animals, we evolved to move in a wide variety ways to achieve functional tasks. Climbing a tree, brachiating, hanging, swinging etc not do pull-ups in anatomically perfect position. Exercise is only a small part of the movements that we are capable of and should be utilizing to be healthy, strong and happy. End of rant" πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜›
