County Will Morrigans Women's Rugby

County Will Morrigans Women's Rugby Founded in 2004 in Manhattan, IL. We are a DII team that is fun & competitive. We are a family on & off the field. Our motto is "'til the day I die"�

The Morrigans were established in 2003 by Jenna (12er) and Bridget (Titch). The team started out with very few players and practiced with our men's team, the Shamrocks. Since then the team as grown and now competes at a Division II level. In 2009 we were 1st in the Central League of the Western Division of the Midwest Rugby Football Union, which gave us our first opportunity to play in the Midwest

RFU Championship. Our team is just as fun as we are competitive. We take our games seriously but we take the after party even more seriously. We are a very close family that accepts everyone for who they are. We look forward to practices and games not only because rugby is the best sport ever but also because we can't wait to see each other and just have fun. This team is guaranteed to supply you with knowledge of rugby, best friends and memories of a lifetime, just ask any Morrigan. That’s why our motto is “til the day I die”.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas! The amazing Pinto Bean created this beautiful tribute to all of the Morrigan Mamas and we wanted to share. 🫶🏽🧡💚

This is for all the Morrigan Mamas! You wore the Green and Orange proudly. Then killed it off the pitch as an amazing mother. Many still step on the field. We honor all the present and past Morrigan Mamas. We love you and you inspire us.

Irish Fest is this weekend and we are so ready to get this season started! Come on out and watch us take on the Vixens at 1:00pm! Fox Valley Vixens Women's Rugby Team

We also have a youth rugby showcase after our match! Please stay to cheer on the Lincoln-Way Cobras HS Boys as they take on St. Rita for their first scrimmage of the season at 3:00pm! Lincoln-Way Rugby Club
