Honesty Hour 🗣💯
First of all, nobody is perfect. Even though I have been very successful with my personal health, I still struggle with consistency.
I recently got into running 3-4x a week about 3 months ago.
My hard work payed off and I made the cross country team for
Throughout the season I improved my endurance, speed, and work ethic to achieve amazing results!
This last race I ran a 4k at a 5:40 per mile pace.
For my first 8k race this year I ran at a 6:58 per mile pace.
Both of these races surprised me because I outperformed my expectations twice in a row!
I showed myself that consistently practicing truly unlocks amazing results!
As the Cross Country season comes to an end, it would be easy to quit and stop running…💭
But I want to keep growing! I want to show up and prove to myself that I am a serious athlete! 💪🏽
Ill be honest, I missed my run this morning and my run yesterday, which is annoying. 🙄
I could easily get down on myself or become lazy because of this, but that is not an option for me.
I refuse to stop here, in fact, this inspires me to be even MORE CONSISTENT!
Ill do my best to go to bed at 10:30pm, prep meals, go shopping ahead of time, and stretching to heal my body.
All of this requires great discipline and time management, and I’m willing to do the work.
