The Muddler Minnow dates back to 1936, and there’s a reason it’s still earning space in fly boxes today. That spun deer-hair head pushes water, while the profile can imitate everything from sculpins to small baitfish. (Finatics Fly Company)

They followed it. They swiped at it. This time, they’re getting hooked.

The Short Strike is built specifically for those fish that hammer the back of a streamer.

A trailing hook sits where short-striking fish tend to grab, while the rabbit zonker wing pulses through the water and the hot yellow collar adds contrast in stained water and low light.

90 YEARS LATER, FISH ARE STILL FALLING FOR IT.

The Mickey Finn dates all the way back to 1936 — and there’s a reason this legendary bucktail streamer is still in fly boxes today.

Our Fire Tiger version turns up the heat with bright yellow bucktail, a hot red center stripe, and a silver Mylar body throwing flash on every strip.

Trout. Smallmouth. Pike. Pickerel. Even snook and specks in brackish water. This old-school pattern has a seriously long hit list.

Conner Lewing of Delta Fly Works just dropped off a full restock of Pond Crack — one of those flies that has earned a permanent spot in a lot of Louisiana fly boxes.

At roughly 2 inches on a Gamakatsu SL12S #2, Pond Crack rides the line between shrimp and small baitfish, making it a serious redfish pattern that also crosses over for bass, speckled trout, snook, flounder and more.
