Roughrider Academy Traditional Taekwondo, Hapkido and Kumdo Training Each student has the chance to participate on an individual level, nobody sits on the bench.

Taekwondo – The Way of the Foot and the Fist
Roughrider Academy offers training in both Traditional and Olympic style Taekwondo. With a variety of classes tailored towards specific age groups and skill levels, everyone will have the opportunity to achieve positive results in improved self-confidence, focus, concentration and mental and physical development through the dedication and discipline of

Taekwondo. Tournament competition is also an available option. Hapkido – The Way of Coordinated Power
Hapkido is a premier form of practical self-defense that teaches a vast variety of joint locks and pressure points. This allows a practitioner to use minimal force to overcome a much stronger opponent. In addition, the practical use of a variety of traditional martial arts weapons is a component of this program. Kumdo – The Way of the Sword
Kumdo is the ancient Korean art of the sword dating back over 2,000 years. This discipline includes physical training for the ‘sport’ of the sword in the form of sparring, and focus training through the practice of traditional patterns and various techniques. Benefits of Kumdo include improved focus, stamina and unity of the mind, body and spirit.

*CLOSURE / CANCELLATION REMINDER*

Now that it looks like winter is officially upon us, we wanted to remind everyone that Roughrider’s cancellation policy follows that of Mandan Public Schools. If school and / or school sponsored activities are canceled due to weather the gym will be closed.

Also, we will not have class this Thursday since it’s Thanksgiving.
