Gerhardt Guide Service provides an optimal fishing experience. Ice fishing I like to hit smaller lakes till the ice is safer and then I'll Target in on Audoban and Lake Sakakawea. Even some on the northern part of lake Oahe. But still can chase a hot bite. After ice off the Missouri River south of Bismarck is a hot topic. Always in search of that walleye worthy of going on the wall! Will the next

state record be broke again this year? Let's hope!! And after that back to the big Lake of Sakakawea. From east to west Sakakawea has everything to offer!!

How bout that for a kickoff to the weekend. Yesterday was a bit tougher bite. Thanks to the cold front but that's fishing. We still managed some quality eaters, and a few bonus catch and release girls to hopefully get bigger, make more off spring, or make someone else's day as 1 of them was a new personal best. Plus a rare salmon on a jig n a minnow. ALSO a little extra excitement of hooking into what we thought was a paddlefish. Never got a look at it but pretty darn sure. Taking the day off to smoke some pork butts. Hope the rest of ya get out and enjoy your weekend!!
