Learn about the exciting sport of action shooting. Our team is open to student athletes from 3rd grade through 12th. Spots are limited!

We teach Safety, Sportsmanship, Responsibility and Fun!

The Pistol Prodigies, youth rifle and pistol team will be starting their 13th season on September 1, 2026.

The Pistol Prodigies are part of a nationwide program called Scholastic Action Shooting Program.

We focus on gun safety, gun handling, marksmanship and fun! We have NRA and SSSF certified coaches and volunteers. The team shoots pistols and rifles for speed on steel.

The team is looking for kids who love to shot in 3rd grade up to 12th grade, who are interested in the fastest growing and safest sport in the United States. The Shooting sports!

To learn more about this AWESOME team, please attend a meeting on Wednesday August 26th or Thursday August 27th at 7pm at the Manchester Sportsman Club.

Congratulations to our friends from the Leadslingers!

The SASP National Championships were held at the Cardinal Shooting Center July 10-18.

When the gunsmoke cleared, 2 Michigan teams brought home hardware.

Congratulations to the Leadslingers for 1st in Rimfire Pistol - Open Division, and 3rd in 1911 - Open Division.

Congratulations to WWCCA for 1st in Iron Rifle - Open Division.

Michigan was well represented by multiple teams at Nationals! Good shooting everyone!
