We proudly support our referees—especially our young and new officials. 💛⚽

Through Respect the Call from U.S. Soccer, we’re building a clear, consistent standard for sideline behavior and referee support across NHSA.

Let’s lead with respect, protect our officials, and strengthen the game together.

Supporting referee development includes setting clear, consistent expectations around behavior and ensuring referees—especially new and young officials—know they are supported.

The Respect the Call education videos provide a shared framework for understanding:

🟢 Emotional outbursts vs. dissent
🟡 When dissent requires action
🔴 When behavior becomes offensive, abusive, or unsafe

💻 Visit the Referee Abuse Prevention page on our website (nhreferee.org/rap) and check out the U.S. Soccer Respect the Call Education site (https://www.ussoccer.com/respect-the-call).

🌟 Over the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out new education resources to support our entire refereeing family.

Your engagement helps these reach the people who need them most—so don’t forget to like, repost, and share to lift up our referees! ⚽💛
