We've cleaned out the barn, shed, house, and anywhere else we can find. Look at all this stuff! Some household things in there too. Come dig through everything. Starting Friday the 10th at 8:00, thru Sunday. A lot of this is tack lots we have purchased, and if you will come get it before we have to sort and clean it all, you will find a great bargain! 1921 210th St, Manchester, IA We are hidden back behind Loecke Construction, so just pull in their driveway and go on back. You'll see our sign. While you're here, you can also browse through our tack shop and find bargains in there too!

We sure love visiting with people who come in our shop. Today a nice group of folks came in, and one was a young man who is wanting to start training horses. Over the years I have sent a few horses to be trained, and I always try and find someone who will ride them like I ride; trails, woods, roads, timbers, creeks, etc. Riding in arenas does not interest me. If I had one to be trained, I would sure try this young man out. He will train your horse for you, put some good outdoor miles on it, and even come to your place to work with it if needed. So if you have a horse that needs started, and want to give a young trainer a chance, give him a call. He is in the Colesburg area. Austin Kuehl, 563-920-1986.

Bighorn saddle. 15” seat. Made like saddles used to be made. Solid and sound. It’s just been cleaned, oiled, and Blackrocked. New saddle strings added and new leather conchos. Underside is real sheepskin, in good condition but well used and not the cleanest. Offside stirrup leather has been repaired but is solid and good. Ready to ride. $175 plus sales tax in our shop.

Here’s a project for someone! Tapaderos, vintage, good leather. One stirrup is broken, but the metal casing is still intact, so it could actually still be used. Fixable, fun little project while you wait for the snow to melt! Some new latigo ties, new conchos , and some elbow grease will make this pair look like a showpiece! $20 and they are yours!

Boots. Lots of boots. Although we don’t carry all the nice clothes and footwear that a tack shop quite often does, we do have lots of pre-worn boots. And really cheap! Kids outgrow them so fast, so we try to have a few around. Stop in and take a look.

Who doesn't like a little refreshment on the trail? Here is a handy bag that will carry a bottle or can, plus a pocket for a phone or other small essentials. The main part is insulated, and made in a way that more insulation can be added. Lots of adjustment that will enable you to attach it most anywhere that is handy. $7.99 plus sales tax in our shop. Only three left at this price!
