Ladies Only classes start tonight @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm!

Tonight's fitness will be a fun & cathartic aerobic kickboxing workout led by Katy Bess. Self Defense techniques will include boundary setting, distance management, and punch protection. Self Care will include a basic hip opening mobility routine & trigger point therapy for neck/headache pain.

Hi Ladies,

I want to take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Misti Garrett. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer, Youth Exercise Specialist, Krav Maga Black Belt & Associate Instructor at TWMA, and a Gracie Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt & Certified Instructor. But I am also a wife, mother, and business owner, so I understand the challenges women face to make time for their own health - which is why I created Graceful Grit. Graceful Grit is an exclusive program for women only that combines a fitness element (renew), a self defense class (resist), and self massage & mobility techniques for common soft tissue complaints (renew).

Graceful Grit is an on-going program offered on Fridays at TWMA from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. It is low pressure - meaning, you can come to whichever portions of the class fits your schedule and needs the best, and you can begin at whatever level you are comfortable. Fitness will be from 5:00 - 5:30, Self Defense from 5:30 - 6:15, and Self-Care from 6:15 - 6:30.

We offer a 2 week free trial (to make sure you love it!) and multiple discounts to TWMA & Snap Fitness Manchester members.

While athleticism isn’t necessary for physical self defense, there is no question that strength, mobility, and cardiovascular health are assets in physical altercations. However, many women feel overwhelmed trying to figure out how to prioritize their own health, safety, and self care. This is why we will be incorporating fitness training, self defense techniques, and self Myofascial trigger point therapy into all our classes.
We are honored to welcome Katy Bess, co-founder of Tri-Star Transformation & Manchester’s Finest Trainer & Gym, to teach 30 minutes of aerobic kickboxing in each class!! The aerobic kickboxing will be appropriate for beginners - veteran exercisers; however, check with your doctor before beginning any fitness program to make sure it is appropriate for your specific health conditions.

Our current schedule will be as follows:

Saturday, May 27 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm - FREE Seminar.

Beginning Friday, June 9th, @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm - Recurring weekly classes. Feel free to attend the portions of the recurring class that fit your schedule and goals. 5:00 - 5:30 (aerobic kickboxing) 5:30 - 6:15 (self defense techniques), and 6:15 - 6:30 (Pilates, mobility, self Myofascial trigger point therapy).

Pricing: $65/month or $20 drop in.
*Discounts available to female Snap Fitness Manchester members - *female TWMA/GJJ MANCHESTER/TRISTAR members or immediate family members may attend any portion of Graceful Grit for free.
