We won’t charge you $, but it will cost you. What we have to offer is far more valuable than what $ can get you anyway…
It’s a movement of virtue. Not some fake “alpha male tribe” of foolishness.

Below was an article in the F3 National Newsletter:

One Day Better

In the pre-dawn hours, a tribe of men gathers. They don't convene in plush conference rooms or cozy coffee shops. Instead, they congregate in the crisp morning air of a public park. They are members of F3 Nation, a movement that blends sweat, camaraderie, and a quest for personal growth into a unique brand of male bonding. And I join them.

In a world often marked by isolation and individualism, the rise of F3 Nation stands as a beacon of hope—a testament to the transformative power of community and shared purpose. As I delved into the spirit of F3, I uncovered a remarkable merging of principles within the "One Day Better" mindset—a synergy that illuminates the path toward personal growth, resilience, and meaningful connection.

For those of you not familiar, F3 Nation, forged on the principles of Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith, (hence F3), is not your typical fitness club. It's a brotherhood, a community, and a lifestyle all rolled into one. Founded in 2011, F3 began as a way for men to reclaim their physical health, forge meaningful connections, and deepen their faith – all while breaking a sweat. At its core, F3 embodies the relentless pursuit of improvement—a sentiment echoed in the heart of our ODB values. Through a network of peer-led workout groups, F3 cultivates an environment where men of all backgrounds, fitness levels, and beliefs come together to push their boundaries, support one another, and embrace discomfort as a catalyst for growth. Oh, and it’s completely free.

At the heart of F3 lies the workout of the day, or "Q", a peer-led exercise session that challenges men of all fitness levels to push their limits. These workouts are not for the faint of heart. They're gritty, intense, and demand full commitment. My initiation involved over a mile worth of running intervals, various bodyweight movements and a cinder block…yes, a cinder block for some spicy overhead carries. As a free class, some of the more glamorous equipment gets tossed aside for often rugged, heavy, ugly, common objects that will “make do.” But therein lies the magic – in the crucible of shared struggle, bonds are forged, and barriers are broken. The spirit of One Day Better asks you to seek out discomfort, do hard things, and find a community that aids in your personal growth. I did not want to wake up at 4:30 am, I did not want to go out in sub-30° weather and I did not want to follow vague instructions that led me to a park entrance in hopes that a group of likeminded men would be there to greet me. I was uncomfortable. Until a man who goes by 007 (oh yeah, nicknames are a big deal…I could explain, but I won’t - some things are best left up to experiencing for yourself), extended a hand and welcomed me. Another joined, and another, and another, until there were six men, five vets and yours truly, a Friendly New Guy (FNG), standing in a circle, making the decision to start their day uncomfortably. I knew immediately, that I had found a new tribe.

For me, exercise comes easy. I have a home gym, a desire to be fit, and around 20 years worth of knowledge and experience to lean on. What doesn’t come easy is having a close group to share that with. I recently moved to South Carolina, not knowing anyone close by and abandoning what support I had. There’s the old saying of, “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone." I greatly underestimated the power of community, and filling that void was the true reasoning behind why I was driving to a public park at a time when I’d have a better chance of seeing a drug addict than a child. Because F3 extends beyond mere physical exertion—it fosters a sense of brotherhood that transcends the boundaries of the workout space. F3 emphasizes the power of authentic connection and mutual support in navigating life's challenges. Whether it's through the shared struggle of a pre-dawn workout or the vulnerability of post-workout fellowship, F3 provides a sanctuary where men can forge meaningful relationships, lean on one another in times of need, and celebrate victories—both on and off the training ground.

As I reflect on my experience and the relationship between F3 Nation and One Day Better, I’m reminded of the profound potential that lies within each of us—to embrace discomfort, forge genuine connections, and strive for continuous improvement, one day at a time. In a world fraught with uncertainty and division, groups like F3 and One Day Better remind us that, together, we can overcome adversity, inspire change, and become the best versions of ourselves. So, as the sun rises on a new day, let us embrace this spirit, unleashing the power of brotherhood, resilience, and collective growth to make each day not only different, but undeniably better. And to the men who graciously welcomed me into their pack, thank you. I will see you in the morning.

We are an organization OF leaders, not just an organization WITH leaders.

We will dedicate our resources to training men to go and train other men.

We will teach men to fish, instead of giving them fish.
