Despite additional pumps being added, the water levels are rising at Cheboygan dam and it’s still raining - with more rain on the way. This is not a good situation.

“UPDATE: More pumps have been added to divert water around the Cheboygan Lock and Dam Complex. On Sunday afternoon, water levels have risen to 15 inches below the top of the dam. Local residents are being encouraged to follow the “Ready, Set, Go” safety approach and sign up for local emergency alerts.”
