SHOUT OUT TO LOGAN ZIRBEL! Prep Redzone Wisconsin (high school football platform that provides year-round coverage of players and teams in Wisconsin, including player rankings, articles, and recruiting information) recently wrote an article about 10 players in Wisconsin who are making a big impact on both offense and defense for their teams, and Logan was one of them. Congratulations, Logan! He has been working hard in the weight room and on the field the past two seasons and is seeing great results. Keep striving for greatness!!!

Overnight Camp ✅
Hard work. Fun. Laughter. Frustrations. Learning. Bonding.
This crew has lived the team motto every day — some days stronger than others, but always together. There’s something special about this group.

We’re keeping it light today — make sure athletes are fueling with good food, stretching, icing, and hydrating tonight and through the weekend.

Scrimmage Tomorrow:
🚌 Bus leaves at 3:00 PM (be at school by 2:45 to pack & check gear)
🥤 Bring snacks & water
👨‍👩‍👦 Parent/Athlete Meeting immediately after

Back in November, we set a team goal: 72 lifts per player. That goal takes consistency, discipline, and buy-in — and these guys delivered!

Football Camp continues this week. Our final days are:
July 20 3:00-5:30
July 21 5:30-8:00
July 23 5:30-8:00

Make sure to bring helmet, practice jersey, water, cleats and tennis shoes.

As a reminder, we have to pick up and drop off on the road in front of the high school. Our parking lot was seal coated and blocked off. If the barriers are down feel free to drop off and park like business is usual!

Hope to have all MS and HS football players there!

🏈 Good luck to our Manawa Football players competing in the Middle School All-State Game this weekend! 🏈

Check-in kicks off today at noon in Racine, where athletes will go through test-outs and four practices leading up to Saturday’s showcase.

🏈 THANK YOU, MANAWA FOOTBALL FAMILY! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate the 4th of July and our nation’s freedom, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of you for stepping up and volunteering to help with Rodeo Parking again this year. This is a massive undertaking during one of Manawa’s biggest events—and your willingness to pitch in means everything.

We are understaffed this year due to many being out of town, so if you see any open slots and are able to help, your support is greatly appreciated.

PARKING VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS:

T-Shirts: Provided upon arrival at your lot. Find the coach assigned to your area to grab your shirt. This is yours to keep—please wear it each shift for safety and visibility.

Dress for the weather: Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and stay updated on the forecast. Be smart and stay comfortable.

Hydration: Bring at least one or two bottles of water to stay hydrated.

Arrival: Get dropped off at the entrance of your assigned lot. Arrive on time—a few minutes early is fine. Lombardi time isn’t necessary.

Chairs welcome: You may bring a folding chair—especially helpful if you're at the worker/camper lot or during slow times.

Let’s keep communication sharp, work as a team, and show the Lions Club why they can always count on Manawa Football. The Lions do so much for our town and our graduating seniors—this is our chance to give back and show gratitude.

Be safe, have fun, and thank you again. This is what community is all about, and I’m proud to be part of it with all of you.

🏈 IT'S GO TIME — FOOTBALL PRACTICE STARTS TONIGHT! 🏈

🗓️ Tonight (Sunday): 3:00 – 5:30 PM
🗓️ Tomorrow (Monday): 5:30 – 8:00 PM

We only get 5 of these contact days, so we’ve got to make every one count. We need ALL players there and ready to roll.

🛡️ Helmet fitting starts at 2:30 PM today — if you haven’t been fitted yet or need to adjust chin straps, get there early!
🚪 Enter through the Fitness Center doors and head to the locker room.

We can’t wait to get started and show you the work that’s been happening behind the scenes to match the effort YOU put in this offseason.
