VBA - Virginia Bowhunters Association The purpose of VBA is to foster, expand and perpetuate the use of the bow in hunting all legal game, St.

During the year, the VBA:

-Hosts five state tournaments each year as well as more than 100 sanctioned club shoots

-Sponsors sponsors a state-wide charity shoot each year (e.g. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network),
sponsors numerous club shoots for charity (e.g. Hunters4Hungry, March of Dimes),

-Offers an annual Conservation Scholarship for an eligible VBA member or imm

ediate family member

-Conducts a quarterly meeting of all clubs and VBA officers to plan events and ensure smooth operation of the VBA

-Hosts an evolving and dynamic web site to inform all residents about archery activities in Virginia,

-Represents the VBA at various sportsmen shows throughout the year and much, much more!
