Congratulations to CBA's Conor Andree, Jackson's Jimmy Pappalardo, and Ranney's Shaan Nayar for winning this year's Ken O'Donnell Scholarship donated by the Monmouth/Ocean County Parochial Basketball League and Michael Brown in memory of the legendary Neptune basketball head coach. O'Donnell is the only Shore Conference head coach to ever win a state championship in both boys (2002 and 2009) and girls basketball (1984).

Neptune showed out in support of ACI/Robin's Nest in its JSBL championship victory, a testament to the impact coach Joe Fagan has had as a high school coach.

A severe rain storm on Thursday postponed the semifinals to Monday which enabled league MVP Jakari Spence to return home from vacation in time to lead Sterns Trailer to their 4th straight championship appearance. Story on Shore Sports Insider

Due to the state of emergency issued in NJ because of the weather as well as unified agreement by all 4 coaches, tonight’s semifinals have been postponed to Monday, August 4th. As a result, the championship will now be on Tuesday, August 5th. Please spread the word!
