Great night for our Hitmen players as they got a rare opportunity to train directly with the Seton Hall Pirates coaching staff in a closed workout at the Pirates Baseball stadium and receive a personal tour of the athletic facility.

Unbelievable experience for our guys as they were able to showcase their skills, and create personal connections as they begin paving their road to collegiate baseball.

Sincere thanks to the Seton Hall University coaches along with the Hitmen's national partner, Southern Squeeze Baseball, for setting up this epic private workout for our players.

Epic night at Diamond Nation last night for the NJ Futures Games and Underclassmen games.. Unbelievable experience for all the kids in attendance to play on such a big stage and represent as the best players in the state. With colleges like Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Rutgers, Seton Hall and so many more in attendance it was a night to remember.

Congratulations to Zando Kelly for representing Hitmen Baseball and himself on such a high level. Zando turned in the 2nd highest pitcher velocity of the entire Futures game topping out at 82 mph. Years of continued hard work continue to pay off.

A sincere thanks from Stafford Hitmen Baseball for the turnout to tonight's tryout. We had over 100 kids attend throughout the nights 2 sessions. We are overwhelmed and appreciative for all the support. We will go through every players tryout in detail and notify each of you within 1 week with an update.

Survive and advance!! Playoff mode for both of the 10u Hitmen teams and each was up to the challenge as both Hitmen 10u teams combined to sweep the weekend and are moving on to the next round.

The 10u Dominguez team looked to avenge an early season loss and did so in convincing fashion with a 17-1 playoff victory over adrenaline. Staff ace Mason Accatatta continues to dominate as the right handed hurler went the distance, striking out 8 along the way and scattering only 2 hits and 1 run. Big day at the plate from young stud Loukas Schubiger with his 3 hits, 2 runs and 2 rbis. Great games from Ryan Robbins and Kenny Carpenter who combined to provide 4 hits, 4 runs and another 3 rbi's. On to the semifinals next weekend!

The 10u Kelly team continues to play red hot baseball with a weekend sweep and is moving on to the championship. Stud pitcher Kai Hayden once again carried the team to another big win with his dominant performance. Kai tossed 5 brilliant innings of baseball, striking out 7 while allowing 0 BB's and only 1 run on Saturday. Tim Gould and Jackson Rolwood were outstanding at the plate as the middle infield duo combined for 5 hits on the day, while Carmine Cappuccino provided a hit and 2 runs scored of his own to help propel the Hitmen to a win in their quarterfinal matchup.

Sunday the 10u boys were right back at it facing a tough Point Pleasant group. Newcomer Hudson Kuhmann was terrific in all aspects. Kuhmann got the start and provided length with 5 efficient innings on the bump and secured a 10-4 victory with the signature Hitmen defense once again proving to be the difference.

At the plate Kuhmann was even more impressive with his 2 hit, 1 run, 3 rbi semifinal performance. The Temple brothers played a huge part in the victory as both Brandon and Aiden Temple were absolutely locked in offensively. Both of the Temple boys put up 2 hits, including run scoring doubles from each to propel the Hitmen.

Next weekend will be a big championship matchup for the 10u group.

The Hitmen boys are absolutely locked in and brought home 2 more tournament championships this Memorial Day. The 10u & 12u Hitmen invaded Adventure Sports complex and ran the table going 6-0 on the day and bringing home 2 titles.

The 12u boys were in attack mode from the beginning as collectively they clobbered a ridiculous 10 HR's on the day. The lineup from top to bottom was outstanding, but monster efforts from Troy Denardo & Kingston Rutledge who set the tone with a combined 10 hits, 9 rbi's and 4 homeruns proved too much to handle. Great pitching performances in all 3 games from Jake Kozelnik, Sean Helm and Troy Denardo who allowed only 4 total runs over 3 games. The 12u boys are hitting their stride winning 5 of their last 6 games and looking to stay hot with big events coming up on the horizon.

The afternoon finished with the 10u Hitmen who put on a clinic all day. Out-executing their opponents in every facet of the game, the 10u boys steamrolled the bracket in a 3 game sweep, outscoring their opponents 32-7. Trademark Hitmen pitching and defense carried the day as pitchers Kai Hayden, Tim Gould and Hudson Kuhmann were nothing short of brilliant in each of their respective games. Hitmen defense was surgical from the start as the boys were prepared for every scenario turning 2 double plays and recording a ridiculous 32 defensive putouts and only 3 errors on the day. Outstanding offensive approaches from the entire squad doing all of the little things to perfection, and creating scoring chances at every opportunity. Most notably Tim Gould and Carmine Cappuccino provided big time offensive firepower. The duo combined for 14 hits, 12 runs, 6 rbi's and 6 extra base hits including Gould's first career Homerun which was a no doubt shot over the CF wall. Incredible team to watch and the development of this group is undeniable as they embody the "We Not Me" attitude to perfection.

A sincere thanks and show of respect from all of the Hitmen families to all the service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice serving our country.

Its official...congratulations to Hitmen player Zando Kelly on being selected to represent the state of NJ in the Garden State Futures game on June 11th at Diamond Nation in front of 100+ college coaches and MLB scouts.

A major accomplishment to be chosen as one of the top 2030 prospects in the state. He will be the 1st of many Hitmen players to receive this honor as our pipeline of players coming through the ranks is loaded with next level talent.
