Survive and advance!!

The rising 11u & 12u Hitmen not only advanced to bracket play with Saturday wins but also both won their respective elim games on Sunday to advance to the semifinals

The rising 11u Hitmen playing their first 50/70 games are on fire. Pitcher Kai Hayden went wire to wire with a complete game victory. Trademark Hitmen defense was once again crisp making play after play. Big offensive days from Aiden Temple and James Mears who each contributed 2 hits in the game.

Further up north the 12u boys were back at it and knocked off Patriot team 7-3. Chase Bavuso was on absolute fire tossing 4 1/3 of outstanding baseball with 8 K's. Bavuso added 2 hits and 4 rbi's including a massive 2 run HR. The red hot Jack Scamporino added 2 hits of his own and picked up the save.

10u boys championship bound again!

After battling to a tie against a tough Jersey Padres team from East Caldwell, the boys find themselves playing in their 3rd straight championship game.

Unbelievable team effort to get there... a true representation of We Not Me with these young Hitmen boys

10u Hitmen staying red hot with a 12-2 victory in game 1 over East Baseball Club at their Adventure Sports Tournament

Classic Hitmen defense making every play look routine behind starter James Mears. Mears was outstanding once again as he went the distance striking out 6 to pick up the win.

Hitmen offense was once again on point collecting 8 hits, most notably Aiden Temple and his 3 hit afternoon.

What a great weekend of baseball with our Hitmen teams and families as the 10u and 12u Hitmen both picked up some well earned hardware.

Beyond just the final scores, there were a lot of factors that made these wins especially rewarding.

2 teams who have both similarly endured their own adversity and come out the other side with nothing more than hardwork and Hitmen level preparation.

A 10u team that posted a record of 1-14 just 18 short months ago, has a roster with half the kids who are only 9 years old playing up, and others who have been passed on by others for a variety of reasons. To now come out the other side and pick up 3 tournament championships in approximately the last 12 months. Even more impressive is their ability to compete with any team, at any time while playing clean baseball teamwide.

A 12u team that 2 years ago had a hard time finding their identity and took big losses on what seemed like a weekly basis. To then open the 2026 season 0-7 before a teamwide reset took place and a miraculous turnaround was put in motion. 3 months later that 0-7 start seems like an ancient memory as they've pulled down 2 tournament championships and put on one of the most impressive displays in the history of the Hitmen clobbering 16 homeruns in 3 games against a variety of teams and high level pitchers this weekend.

These 2 teams are the epitome of Hitmen Baseball and everything we encompass as an organization. Outwork everyone and persevere.

Four teams earned the right to keep playing. Only one will earn the right to call themselves 15U USABL Elite World Series Champions. Who’s winning it all? 🏆🔥

Saturday sweep for the 16u Hitmen! The boys traveled north to Lasorda Legacy Park to compete in the PBR Atlantic World Series. The Hitmen knocked off 2 previously unbeaten teams by the score of 14-0 and 4-3 to put themselves in prime position heading into the weekend.

Outstanding performances by the entire squad. Most notably Conner Kerlin with a lights out performance on the mound in game 1. Kerlin went 4 scoreless, striking out 7 and allowing only 2 hits en route to a game 1 win. Nic Iodaci pitched 3 2/3 of great baseball in game 2, and Devin Nunziato slammed the door shut to pick up the save.

Joey Rosas locked it down behind the plate, throwing out all 3 attempted base stealers, and was in complete control of the Hitmen pitching staff.

Great offensive day from Harold Rodriguez with his 3 hit, 2 rbi and 3 run day, Louie Piscioneri with a clutch run scoring double in game 2, Zando Kelly with 2 hits and 3 runs scored over the 2 games, and EJ Hernandez who's rbi double in the final inning of game 2 proved to be the difference.

Way to compete all day boys!

Another great week for our Hitmen guys as 5 of the boys teamed up with our partners from Southern Squeeze Baseball and competed in the highly touted Prospect Select Boston Classic 17u division.

Facing some of the best competition in the country, and for many of the boys playing up 2 age brackets, the Hitmen boys proved they belonged and could hang with the best.

Conner Kerlin- LHP/1B Class of 2027
3 IP, 1 ER, 5 K's, Top velocity 84 mph
Offensively: 2 hits, 1 run, 2 BB's

Joey Rosas- Catcher Class of 2028
3 hits, 2 runs, 4 RBI's, 3 BB's
Threw out 2 potential base stealers

Nic Iodaci- LHP Class of 2029
3 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 3 K's

EJ Hernandez-3b/RHP Class of 2029
2 hits, 1 run, 2 BB's, 2 Rbi's

Zando Kelly- RHP/SS Class of 2030
6 IP, 2 ER, 8 K's Top Velocity 83 MPH
Offensively: 1 hit, 2 runs, 2 rbi's, 3 BB's

Couldn't be prouder of our guys- Keep outworking them all boys. Thank you to the Southern Squeeze for another great opportunity and all the work put in to making this happen
