Cody Bradford Memorial —

The climbing world mourns the loss of Cody Bradford.

Cody was a climbing education thought leader. People around the world benefited from his in-person guiding, and on-line instruction.

Here at CTT, we shared a fair amount of time with Cody, discussing climbing education, and his life goals. He seemed like a gentle soul and a class act. While we never teamed up the way I had hoped — we offered Cody an equity lead role within ; he decided to build a brand around himself — we maintained a respect for one another, in our niche corner of the world.

I haven’t touched CTT in a while, because I now believe social media can have negative impacts on mental health (mine and others). I’ve also been too busy serving my family via my time, and by other means of putting figurative bread on the table. As such I have been away from social media in a professional context, and focused on what I think is more important… My family, and our health.

That stated, if anyone here is having mental health issues or dark thoughts, PLEASE reach out to the available help resources. In the States, we have the su***de prevention hotline. I’ve included contact info below.

Today is my birthday, and I woke up early to reflect on life. I wish all of you happiness, health, prosperity, and the safety considerations taught by professionals like Cody.

Cody Bradford RIP.
