Eastern Sierra opener is almost here—April 25 is right around the corner and it’s shaping up to be a really fun start to the season.
The fish are waking up, getting aggressive, and the best part—on a lot of our waters, they haven’t seen a fly since last November. Expect midges, blue-winged olives, and good chances at fish willing to eat.
I’ll be running trips through May around Mammoth and Bridgeport, then heading to Pyramid in June, and back to Mammoth and Crowley for the summer.
This is one of the best windows of the year—active fish, fewer crowds, and a fresh start to the season.
If you’ve been thinking about getting out, now’s the time. Let’s get you on the water.
