We finally have water in our pond! But walking on the liner can damage it. Please, if you can’t retrieve it, leave it! A $20 disk can be replaced a lot easier than a $500 liner plus the work needed to repair or replace it.

John Houck just left after marking more to remove on Mammoth Cave DGC holes 10-18 but the last thing we did was to take a close look at Wolf K**b hole 15 to see if the gap at the landing zone needed to be widened and ceiling raised. It was determined that numerous large limbs were to be removed . Much of it has been done but we may take a few more out. Statistically, only 15% of players have been paring this hole. I will keep a close watch to see if it starts increasing. Come on out, take a look and see what you think.

We have the second half of the liner installed! Now we need lots of rain. Please only use a disc retriever to recover any discs landing in the pond. Attempting to go into the pond will not only damage the liner but will also be dangerous once it fills up.

We have started work on trying to get hole 18 pond to hold water. We ordered two 40’x40’ pond liners and thought the box we received had both liners. Unfortunately they had only shipped one of the liners. Since we already had it unfolded we went ahead and placed it at one end of the pond. Hopefully we can get the other one next week. It will make it harder to complete possibly causing us to pump water out to install the other liner.
We are asking everyone to not walk on the liner risking damaging it. In the future no one will be allowed to enter the pond. Please use a disc retriever that will not damage the liner.
We are considering emptying the pond at the end of the year to remove lost discs.
