Them crystal clear heads of the Pentagons are one the of the main reasons I originally started selling large numbers of these.

I was told by a gentleman that he had watched fish come up and try and eat the head of the Alabama Rigs he was using at the time. Also that he couldn't find any that had truly clear heads. So he asked if I could make some. I told him yes.

Next thing I knew he was asking for 60 at a time to put on the shelves of his store. Now I make a ton of these things and right now is when the sell of these things starts to slowly increase. Peaking in January and teetering out by late April I will sell more of these than I'd like to build(if I'm honest). Its the one bait that I dont really necessarily "enjoy" building. There's no paint or skirt layering involved to create a complex pattern that mimics prey. Its just wire, epoxy, and components.

But I'd be stupid to quit selling em because they make me lots of $ throughout the winter. $ talks and I'd be stupid to walk... away from that!

So after a few months of searching, this version of Golden Shiner will no longer be available. I have not found a replac...

So after a few months of searching, this version of Golden Shiner will no longer be available. I have not found a replacement tab for the back color(smoke) that is anywhere as dark as the original tab. Maybe sometime in the future I can revive this color(even I get some custom made skirt tabs). For now though. This exact color will no longer be available. 😪

These are by far the prettiest of the bass species. Except maybe the Peacock Bass. However, of the species I have fished for. They are the prettiest by far and the most fearsome!
