The road to the 2027 USA vs. Canada Rivalry Series begins June 15, 2026!

Northern Prospects ELITE and Canadian Girls Elite Academy are excited to officially open the Player Interest Forms for athletes looking to earn a spot representing Team USA or Team Canada in one of North America’s premier hockey events.

Selected athletes will participate in:
✅ Team Practice
✅ USA vs. Canada Best-of-5 Series

🇺🇸 Team USA players will receive:
• Home & Away Custom Jerseys
• 2 Pairs of Game Socks
• Team Shells
• Team Sweatshirt
• Team T-Shirt
• Team Shorts
• Team Backpack

Player evaluations, scouting reports, and submitted information will be reviewed throughout the selection process by NP ELITE Hockey Operations and coaching staffs.

NP ELITE is looking to add a limited number of Tier 1 players to complete our rosters for the Wizards Summer Showcase in Bedford, MA, June 25-28.

👀 Exclusive showcase format designed for maximum player exposure
🎓 70+ college coaches attended the 2025 event

“This past year I surveyed 14 NCAA Division I coaches and asked them what event they would like to see us at if we came out East. Funny story is that all 14 coaches said go to the Wizards event.”

First year at Ponytail Challenge. Big stage. Big energy. 🏒🔥 ⭐️

Northern Prospects ELITE showed up in Toronto, ON for the Ponytail Challenge and made some serious noise all weekend long!

From team photos and locker room laughs to big goals, big saves, huge cellys, and playoff hockey, this group brought the energy every single day. Our athletes competed hard against some outstanding competition, supported each other, and represented NP ELITE with pride.

Huge shoutout to all of our teams (2011, 2012, 2013, & 2014) that battled hard this weekend and to our 2011s and 2012s for making their way into playoff action, finishing as semifinalists and quarterfinalists! The 2013s missed out on the Sunday Playoffs by goal differential as they finished tied for the last spot. What an incredible way to kick off the first year of NP ELITE at the Ponytail Challenge.

The Northern Prospects ELITE (NP ELITE) and Canadian Girls Elite Academy (CGEA) have joined forces to create the 2027 USA vs Canada Rivalry Series, an unforgettable international showcase where elite athletes from both nations will battle for pride, compete at the highest level, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

This isn’t just another tournament. It’s a true rivalry series experience featuring national team-style uniforms, a best-of-seven format, elite competition, and an atmosphere built to inspire greatness.

From the opening puck drop to the final buzzer, players will represent their country, challenge themselves against top-tier talent, and take part in a hockey experience unlike anything else available in youth hockey.
