We’re excited to share that the Malone Rec Park has a brand new website 🎉

We’re still building out different parts as we head into summer, but you can already start using it to make your life a whole lot easier. You can now reserve pavilions, baseball fields, soccer fields, and courts right from home— no paperwork, no trips to the village office.

It’s quick, simple, and finally catches us up to the times.

We’ve got a few new things in the works for this summer… and you’ll be able to sign up for them right on the website 😉

The park doesn’t hibernate & neither should you!

Our plowed walking path is ready for your morning strolls, after-school walks, and sunny winter laps. The sledding hill is calling all kids (and kids at heart 🛷), and there’s nothing better than fresh snow sparkling in the sunshine.

Even in the coldest months, Malone Rec Park is still a place to move, breathe, and enjoy the outdoors. Bundle up, bring a friend, and come see how beautiful the park is in the winter. 💙

It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful to have community partners like SeaComm. Their additional $10,000 donation helps support the filtration system for the splash pad, ensuring a safe, welcoming space for Malone families.

Support like this makes a lasting impact for our children and our community, and we are incredibly thankful. 🏊🏼‍♀️☀️💦

SeaComm recently donated an additional $10,000 to the Malone Recreational Commission to support the installation of a water filtration system at the new SeaComm Pool. This gift was in addition to the $100,000 it gave to support the construction of the pool itself, ensuring children in Malone have a safe place to learn to swim.

📢 The Village of Malone has ONE vacancy on the Joint Recreation Commission for the Malone Recreation Park.

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the park, or wanted to be part of the decisions that make everything happen, here’s your chance. We’re looking for a Village resident interested in volunteering their time and joining a highly active, community-focused Commission. This appointment will fill an unexpired term.

Big news, Malone! 🌳

We’re on our way to building a brand-new inclusive playground where every child can play, explore, and belong. ❤️

We’ve applied for a NYS Grant that, if awarded, would cover 75% of the project cost — leaving us responsible for a 25% community match. To make this happen, we’ll need to work together to raise our portion so we’re ready to move forward as soon as the grant is approved!

The proposed playground design features poured-in-place rubber surfacing, accessible equipment, and fun challenges for all ages and abilities. 🙌
