Well we had nearly a four year run. We close the chapter here and move on to something different now. It was great. Met many folks and developed lifelong relationships. I am happy, grateful and feeling bittersweet at the moment. Love this art and the people committed to it. Much like the very folk pictured who gave their time today to help us move out. Thank y’all so much. You made the work quick and easy and I just thank you for being you. Here’s to new beginnings

What an awesome graduation ceremony tonight!! We are so proud of all of our students moving forward. Congratulations to all!! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported those students and Mr. Di Motta who earned his sho-dan black belt. It was a full house and by far our best graduation ceremony. I am still feeling the energy from it

We are so proud and congratulate
Mr. Di Motta on earning his black belt in Japanese Budo!! Our very first at this dojo! 3 and a half years of training, commitment and a little blood, sweat and tears combined with some perserverance. He is an awesome example of character and what this dojo represents. A few pics of his night and the “tying” of the belt. You will also see the students lifting him to the belt that he looked at for years and can now finally take it down. Way too many give up and quit before they can reach this moment. Tonight was his night. Excellent job, sir

BBC has been working the Kukishinden ryu all month. Kata nami, Dofu, Kasumigake and Kataho were four techniques practiced over and over. We learned the traditional ways then broke them down and adapted to more modern scenarios. Excellent work to everyone
