Over the past couple weeks, the CITs have been busy having fun with their cabins and bonding with their kids. Today is Charlie In The Chocolate Factory themed Maccabiah! And tonight, the fun continues with Derby Night where the kids get to watch their counselors compete in messy events!

Today is the last Shabbat of Session I. Soon all the CITs will be dressed in white, sharing the highlights of their week. What a wonderful and busy week it has been!

Today is ISRAEL DAY! The CITs are getting their first taste of counselor life by going around with assigned units and learning about what it means to be a counselor. They are with their units all day until dinner time, when the CITs will come back together as a group to bond.

Today is HOT HOT HOT outside. This morning the CITs were taught about campers who experience high risk behaviors, and this afternoon we will be talking about homesickness, bedwetting, and separation anxiety. They participated in low ropes activities at the ropes course, and tonight we'll be talking about how to build camper's self-esteem. Another full day of training!

Today was packed full of training. We talked about bullying, children with ADHD and other challenges campers face, we had a CIT alumni panel, went swimming, and finished off with our vey own CIT Commandments. WOW! Another full day of training coming tomorrow!
