Thick grip training produces impressive results in building grip and forearm strength, but not everyone has access to a thick bar.

Meet the Vice Grips.

Vice Grips work by enlarging the thickness of your grip while training, immensely increasing the demand placed on your hands and arms. Your hand and forearm muscles are then forced to exert more muscular force to maintain a steady grip on the Vice Grip, translating into increased mechanical tension in the muscles all the way up the kinetic chain.

At 1. 5 pounds each, they fit in a backpack or bag and are compatible with the Unity Trainer or the cable machines at the gym.

You ever notice how one arm is usually stronger than the other? That's pretty normal. But is it helpful? Not always. The solution? Uneven pull-ups

Uneven pull-ups are a type of pull-up where one handle is lower than the other, forcing you to exert more strength with one arm, while the other supports the movement as you pull. The movement taxes the entire arm, as well most of the shoulder and back muscles, with more emphasis on one particular side.

If doing this fully suspended is too difficult, you can start by standing on a chair or bench to perform assisted pull-ups.

If you had to pick one superpower, what would it be?

Most answers would range from whimsical to utterly insane. Sure, you wonโ€™t be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. Nor would you be able to stare someone to death by laser vision.

Superhuman strength is also impossible. Of course, this would depend on your definition of โ€œsuperhumanโ€.

But, what if we were to tell you that you can at least come close? At least, close enough to be able to deadlift three times your bodyweight? Or, perhaps, squat your bodyweight for reps? Have you been chasing that elusive strict muscle up? Or, do you just want to have the ability to help your granddaughter place a star atop a Christmas tree?

We're going to show you two killer sets to get your arms and lower body in dangerously good-looking condition.

GUN SHOW WORK OUT

3 Sets of Each

Standard Rows: 6 - 8 reps
Bicep Curls: 6 - 8 reps
Pull Ups: 6 - 8 reps
Vice Grip Curls: 6 - 8 reps

DANGEROUS DERRIER WORKOUT

Standard Squats: 8 - 10 reps
Curtsy Lunge: 8 - 10 reps
Single Leg Pistol: 5 - 7 reps per leg
Jump Squats: 8 - 10 reps

Strength Training Vs. HIIT Vs. Cardio: Which Is Better?

The Swiss Army Knife has been canonized as the symbol of the country from which it originated. Besides its sleek design and storied past, its broad utility cements its reputation.

In fact, even dictionaries pay homage to the product's name by making a reference to it- one that means something that can be used for many situations.

And, when it comes to fitness, many novices look for their Swiss Army Knife. In other words, they seek that silver bullet that will take care of all of their fitness goals.

They want strength, some form of catharsis, and a way to burn fat fast. The single activity bringing about all of these effects is the holy grail of fitness.

Many fitness trends have come and go. Each has billed itself as the answer to all fitness quandaries. In a way, every trend that has surfaced gains a following in the same way religions have for hundreds of years. Many become purists to a single exercise discipline.

What Do You Want Out Of Exercise Or Training?
To understand why we narrowed the list down to these three protocols, one question is worth revisiting.

The numbers do not lie, as they say. However, ask yourself: did the person really lose weight in the conventional sense?
