Sir, we are sorry.
Sorry for the debates that had more energy than logic.
Sorry for turning football into religion and ourselves into unpaid prophets.
Sorry for arguing like truth was democratic… as if greatness can be decided by group chat votes.
Because the world has taught us something:
Noise does not create truth… it only creates echo.
Popularity is not proof… it is just volume.
And in every generation, there is always that one reality people argue against… until time embarrasses them into acceptance.
We now understand:
Debates do not change facts.
Arguments do not reduce brilliance.
And comparison… is often the last refuge of denial.
While we were defending effort, you were displaying ease.
While we were measuring numbers, you were creating moments numbers cannot measure.
Football did not need a debate…
We just needed time to admit what was already obvious.
