Cincinnati Galaxy Open Season with a Win

The Cincinnati Galaxy sailed to victory over the PYO Patriots tonight in Maineville 10-3.

In the bottom of the second inning, the Patriots tied things up at one when Jefferson Daniels singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

The Cincinnati Galaxy pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Graham Cohen doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Braylon Connel drew a walk, scoring one run.

Connel got the start for the Galaxy. He surrendered one run on two hits over two innings, striking out six and walking zero.

The Galaxy racked up nine hits on the night. Braylon Connel and Graham Cohen each collected multiple hits for Galaxy. Braylon Connel went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Galaxy in hits. The Galaxy broke a club record with 12 stolen bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Bryce Taylor led the team with three.

The Galaxy road trip continues Saturday when they visit the Sycamore Squadron at the Blue Ash Sports Complex. First pitch scheduled for 3pm.
