✨Wunda Chair Mermaid into Side Kick✨

A fun variation from the Mat on the Wunda Chair Workout that I learned from Sonjé Mayo.

This sequence is a beautiful way to challenge and strengthen the entire body while working on stability, control, balance, and length.

Begin with Seated Mermaid, then transition into a Mermaid variation with the leg on the floor. From there, shift the body weight into the pedal to lift the leg and begin the Side Kick sequence.

I used one middle spring on the Classical Wunda Chair.

Controlling the pedal while moving the leg makes this exercise an incredible challenge for the entire body.

Uma variação que faz parte do treino de Mat no Wunda Chair que aprendi com Sonjé Mayo.

Uma ótima maneira de desafiar e fortalecer o corpo inteiro, trabalhando estabilidade, controle, equilíbrio e alongamento.

Comece com a Mermaid sentada, faça a transição para uma variação da Mermaid com a perna no chão e transfira o peso do corpo para o pedal para elevar a perna e iniciar a sequência de Side Kicks.

Usei uma mola do meio na Wunda Chair clássica.

Controlar o pedal enquanto movimenta a perna torna esse exercício um grande desafio para o corpo todo.

✨Reformer Short Box ✨

The Short Box Series offers endless variations to challenge the body while improving strength, flexibility, control, and coordination.
You can add extensions, variations with the bar, leg circles, side stretches, and so much more to deepen the work and keep the body progressing.

Some of my favorite variations:
• Round Back with Extension
• Flat Back with Bar to the Side (“Fishing”)
• Twist and Reach — “Around the World”
• Tree with Leg Circles
• Leg to Side Stretch
• Leg Cross Stretch
• Side Sit-Ups with Rotation Stretch

Practice them individually or add them into your Short Box sequence for an extra challenge.

✨Wunda Chair Side Kick Series Challenge

Try the Side Kick Series on the Wunda Chair to challenge your stability, balance, and control.

Use one middle spring and place your body in the center of the chair, lying sideways.

Begin by holding onto the chair to find your stability before reaching the arm up to the ceiling.

Front/Back
Up/Down
Small Circles
Bicycle

Control, precision, and balance in every movement. 🙌
