St Andrews runners finished strong today at the Endurance GO SPRING trail race in beautiful Battle Creek Park. Chris Restad finished with a 2nd place in his age group and 10th out of 175 runners and Steve O'Hara finished 4th in his age group and 20th out of 175 runners. Shannon Maixner after breaking her collar bone and suffering a concussion a month ago took 4th in her division. Knock the dust off and hit the trails for the first race in the Urban Trail Series. This race takes place on the trails of Battle Creek West near the Battle Creek Rec Center. This Saturday, May 7th, at 7 am our running group start a book study of The Mindful Athlete by George Mumford. We will include some time for prayerful meditation prior to our normal run at 7:30. All are welcome. We will be discussing chapter one.
