Members of MAXC participated in the Spooky Schuylkill 5k this morning. The team loves participating in this event every year! Such a fun way to finish out the season. Shoutout to Coach Derr for running in the “garbage can” for the full race! 😆

Great job to our Bears at Districts! Every runner had a course PR today! The hard work and consistency of the season showed. Be proud of yourselves, Bears! 🖤💛 Congratulations to Felicia Bro for placing 2nd in the Girls race, and Cameron Smith for placing 15th in the Boys race. They will both be representing Mahanoy Area at the PIAA State Championship race in Hershey on Nov. 1. 🍫

MAXC competed in the Schuylkill League Championship meet at White Birch today. The Bears achieved many PR’s for the season! 👏 Felicia Bro earned a 7th place medal and was named a Division 1 Schuylkill League All-Star! 🏅🌟 Great job today, Bears! 🖤💛

MAXC had their last regular meet of the season at home today. Almost every runner got a PR on the home course this afternoon! A special shoutout to our seniors who were recognized today, Felicia Bro, Nick Manley, and Sonny Seritti. It has been the greatest joy to have you as part of our team over the years! Best of luck in your futures, and never outrun your love for running! 🏃‍♀️🏃🖤💛
