We will soon finish our 20th year of softball at Mac's field. It has turned into more than any of us ever dreamed of. Just providing a place for a few nights every summer where kids and adults alike can gather and hang out for a few hours with no specific agenda and play a little softball. Over the years the participants have varied; very good high school players, young kids who've never picked up a bat or glove, adults who've never played at all or not very much, college players and former college players, coaches and former coaches. It has only worked because the real players young and old have accommodated the inexperienced players young and old and maintained a non competitive environment and everyone has helped maintain a Christian atmosphere. If we can all refocus on these principles then maybe we can roll on for another 20 years.
