I have been working in Law enforcement for over 30 years. During that time, I have seen many things, some I would like to forget. I learned that a man needs to find a way to occupy his mind away from what he has seen or has had to deal with that day. I found my release in leatherwork. I learned leatherwork during Junior High in art class. I found that I could not draw but l

eatherwork was what I could do fairly well. In class we made belts wallets keychains and other small things. As I came to the end of my carrier with the Houston Police Department, I wanted something to keep me busy so I started doing leatherwork again. I retired from HPD in 2004 and started working full time on my leatherwork. On this Facebook account you will see several holsters and other leather craft items that I have done over the last few years. I returned to Law Enforcement in 2006 and remained there until December 2015. I left law enforcement again due to health issues now I use the leatherwork to help reduce the stress.
