When asked how does she help our students believe, achieve and succeed, she replied: “Each day is a new adventure in first grade, both academically and socially. I try to create an environment in my classroom that encourages learning. School should be fun, and students should feel like they can succeed. I feel it is my responsibility to make my students feel loved and, in turn, to teach them to be kind to others. Each child is special and has unique talents. I try to find those talents and nurture them while at the same time developing their weaknesses. I hope to plant the seeds to make each child a successful citizen.”
Thank you, Mrs. Ashmore, for everything you do to ensure our students “Believe, Achieve, Succeed – Every Day!”
