Magee High School Trojan Esports

I have not publicly announced this previously on socials, but I have decided to look for another adventure outside of Magee High School. After being a part of the school turnaround staff and teams for the last three years, I met a lot of amazing people and created special bonds with students. I can honestly say that I was exactly where I was needed and glad I had a positive and measurable contribution. Our school has grown so much in these three years, shedding that dreaded F rank and obtaining a B in just two years. As I look for positions outside of Magee High, the math department is in phenomenal shape accountability wise going into next year. Founding a record-breaking Esports program and becoming Star Teacher back-to-back years, I have lots of fond memories to reflect on. Moving forward with the next project, I hope. :) (Photo from my first month on the job at Magee High!)

A wonderful day to celebrate with a wonderful student. Logan earned the Star Student award this year for Magee High School and selected me as his Star Teacher. I'm honored that he chose me and it means a lot to me to share the day with him. I can't wait to see what he does next!

Congrats to Dylan Harper for being named Player of the Week for Trojans Esports at Magee High School! Dylan faced off against Mississippi School of Math and Science and won 2-0 in a best of 3 format!

Will won his first playoff game and will face off against the number one seed from Clinton High School next week. We hope he is able to avenge a loss for Rose, who played the top seed tonight but didn't advance to the next round.
