Here is a video I took and edited a number of years ago. This 10 point Whitetale Deer had eluded me several times for a photo session so I pushed him off his bed, circled back and dropped into the bottom by the road with the video camera on the tripod and he circled the other way and came out right next to me. The distance between tracks where he landed was 25'. They can really turn on the afterburners. A few photos at the end of a deer bed, tracks in the snow and winter scenes that day.

Wild Parsley skin warning for those who don't know. It's in every road ditch. The oils in this w**d will give you blisters on your skin like third degree burns. The Iowa DNR says w**d brought in as a garden plant from Europe has an edible root but if you get it on your skin it can be very serious. Never use a w**d whip on it. I've seen first hand what this does to the skin and it lasts for weeks.
Look for the yellow tops and the stem has ridges where Queen Anne's Lace has a smooth stem.
