🎯 2025–2026 Fall Hunting & Trapping Seasons Poster Now Available!
The official Kentucky Hunting & Trapping Seasons Poster for the upcoming fall seasons is here! This includes all the essential season dates for deer, turkey, small game, waterfowl, and more.
📌 Key Changes for This Year:
Expanded Youth-Only Deer Fi****ms Season: The youth fi****ms deer season has been extended from two to nine consecutive days statewide, providing young hunters with more opportunities to hunt.
New CWD Surveillance Zone Special Season: A special antlerless-only fi****ms season is now in effect on September 27–28, 2025, in all 14 CWD Surveillance Zone counties. During this two-day hunt, only antlerless deer may be harvested using fi****ms, bows, or crossbows.
New Bear Zone 3: Clinton and Wayne counties have been designated as Bear Zone 3, with an expanded archery/crossbow season beginning on September 20, 2025.
Decoy Restrictions on Dove Fields: Decoys are now prohibited on public dove fields until October 1 to enhance safety and fairness for all hunters.
