YOU DID IT FRIENDS! In less than 3 days!
I started Militia Softball 6 years ago with the plan to reinvest in a community through sports that invested in me as a child. When I was young, I started my travel ball career with Donan Engineering and then we became the Bluegrass Bombers. Through softball, I was not only able to travel all over the USA, I was also fortunate to play internationally. Many people in this great community supported me along the way. When I started this organization, I had a plan to not just develop player athletes, but to also develop people! In 6 short years our organization has finished Top 5 in the USSSA Great Lakes Nationals, Top 5 in the USSSA Gulf Coast Nationals, and one of our teams received the Team Sportsmanship Award at the USSSA Gulf Coast Nationals. The plan is working! Sure we develop players and we win trophies, but more importantly, we develop people! Thank you to everyone who donated to our cause financially as well as all the many people who have sat at a ballfield in the heat and cold to cheer us on. We will continue to make you proud to be part of our Militia Family.

Shout out to Militia 12U! To know everything they dealt with this past week from thinking they won due to a forfiet by the umpire because adults from other teams couldn't behave, to flights being canceled, and medical emergencies...We are so proud of you. Top 6 finish out of 28 teams and they were awarded the tournament sportsmanship award! That is something to be proud of ladies! Pants on Fire!
