CLOSEOUT THE SUMMER OF THE QUEEN
PISTOL SHOOTING COMPETITION

SEPT 6-30 2022 at Last Resort Guns Inc
Entry cost is $5 per entry, you may enter as often as you wish.
Normal range admission charges apply to non members.

The shooting will be 5rounds at 5yrds, 10yrds, 15yrds and 20yrds.
contestants have up to 1 minute at each range distance

Shooting will be divided up into 2 classes

Race Gun & Optic and Service Pistol

Definition of a Race Gun and Optic: Any handgun that has been Tuned Modified or built for Competitive shooting with or without an optical sight.
Definition of a Service Pistol: Any Handgun as issued to Police or Military. A mass produced pistol unmodified from standard, Iron Sights only.
Contestants will load at the firing line and start from the low ready,
Contestants will be cleared weapon unloaded, before leaving the firing line.
Targets will be GSSF Style D1 max score will be 200

You may practice as much as you wish when you are ready an RSO will set/check your competition target at 5yrds using a laser range finder similarly the rso will set/check your target at each subsequent distance,
Submitted target must have your name gender, tel number, and class for a valid entry.

Back Story
I travelled to England this summer and was in London at the time of the Platinum Jubilee. A great deal of commemorative stuff was being produced. I was particularly taken with some Cookie Tins produced by Fortnam and Mason. The tins are in the colors of the Jubilee, are filled with really nice cookies and the base of the tin is a music box that plays the Queens favorite tune.

For what its worth the equivalent items from Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee are now fetching very high prices in antique sales.
With the death of the Queen it willl be a darn long time before we see their ilk again.

Regardless of multiple entries an individual may only win 1 Cookie Tin

Due to the new guidelines from the President of the United States and the CDC asking that no events be held with more than 10 people, Last Resort Guns is immediately suspending all scheduled events. Since we will have no events in the range, our range will close at 6 pm each day until further notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause however we think this is something that we must do to limit exposure to our customers and employees. For now, we will keep our retail shop and range open from 10 am until 6 pm unless the situation changes. Please keep checking our page for any changes or updates that might take place. We hope that you and your families remain healthy and safe during this crisis that we are experiencing.

Tony Fuller, one of the military's top instructors, will be teaching 3 classes at Last Resort on June 1st and 2nd. June 1 Advanced Pistol Course 5 pm -9 pm, June 2, Advanced Tactical Rifle Course 8 am to 12 noon, June 2 Elite Pistol Course 1 pm - 5 pm.
