rust me: High school coaches don't want show-offs, they want hard-workers who perform on the field.
Are you spending your time practicing what you need to excel? Or are you working on show-off moves that you can't use in a game?

Coaches look for players who can do the basics well. They don't want to spend time bringing you up to speed on the basics - they need you to perform!
