We received our 23-24 Sportsmanship Banner today at the IHSAA Fall Principal Meeting - a recognition for our Department creating a learning environment that is focused on building leaders and developing contributing, responsible young adults and expanding the definition of "success" beyond winning. We placed 2nd in having the most Sportsmanship points out of all of the Indiana high schools that participate in this program. We finished with 134, just 1 point behind Central Noble with 135.
HUGE shoutout to our Student Athletic Council members pictured below who attended their own meeting today to collaborate with other Student Athletic Councils from District 4 and who help promote great Sportsmanship amongst their teams and to the rest of their peers. This is also a nod to our Coaches, Administrators, and Fans / Spectators for remembering what High School Sports are truly all about. We THANK YOU.
