I’ve missed my fav horse girls! This May marks two years since our last horse show, and almost two years since I stopped teaching. These babies (that aren’t babies anymore 🥹) will always be my 🤍.

Miss Hope graduated college in NC and is headed home! Hope has been with the UNC Greensboro IHSA team as well as the local IEA teams over the past year and is ready for her next job!

Hope has been meticulously maintained over the past year. Chiro every 6 weeks, current on all vaccines/coggins. She does get her hocks done 1x a year.

Hope is the sweetest mare I have ever met and has zero ‘mare’ tendencies. She will get bullied if someone is mean. She will try to just get away, she won’t react. So needs to be with others that play nice! She can live in or out and is a very easy keeper. She is also barefoot.

Hope has a great trot and can be ridden on the buckle or collected. The canter can get strung out a bit, but leg to hand works wonders and bending through the corners! She will counter canter and she also has a change. It’s not auto, but it’s there. She needs a confident ride to the jump. If you don’t tell her she is capable of doing it she gets nervous and doesn’t trust herself. IF she stops…it’s never dirty. Once she has jumped everything in the ring once, she goes around perfectly. If she does keep stopping it might be time for her hocks. She will still do her job even if it hurts, but you can tell she doesn’t want to. She will nervous p**p (but continue going). Again, she is the sweetest mare I have ever had and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s never bucked, reared, bolted or even spooked. Her ‘spook’ is her opening her eyes wide!

Would love for her to have her own kid, but am open to a structured lesson program in a show barn. I will sell her to the best home.

She is currently in Randleman NC, but will be headed to Madison GA next week.

LEASED 🤍 CARE LEASE OPPORTUNITY- This sweet Elephant “Ellie” is still available and needs to have a job! She’s been hanging out in the pasture for the past couple of months and needs to get back to work!

This mare is more like a puppy dog and would sell her soul for a peppermint 🤪. She is an 18 hand Oldenburg, 2011 model. Eventing background, currently in the jumper ring. Loves field work and trails as well. Could really go in a few different directions. Fox hunting, eventing, jumpers. Ellie is NOT an easy ride. She is a big girl and takes a soft but strong rider. She will jump ANYTHING you put her in front of and is extremely SAFE, just BIG! I would rather lease her, but will consider a sale to the perfect situation.

She is on Previcox daily, gets her hocks and stifles done annually, and sees the chiro every 4-6 weeks. She does have arthritis and side bone. Neither has really progressed in the 4 years I’ve owned her. Can provide X-rays and welcome a PPE. Will release full vet records.

Does anyone know of any non profits that might be looking for a therapy horse? I have a 17.1 OTTB that is rideable. Sweet man that would make a great addition to a therapy program. He is 7 years old, but has shivers, so finding a place where he could be useful and get attention is my number one priority. Please let me know what is out there! Pics of the handsome man 🐴

Who needs the most handsome boy/boys?! I saved the best for last! These are the last two I have to post as we are winding down.

PEANUT is a 15.3 OTTB 2010 model. He has been there and he has done that! From our local AAHJA shows to WEC he has shown from ground poles to a 1.10M. Has received HORSE OF THE DAY at the IEA shows. Teaches beginners up to intermediate. Wonderful, patient, takes all the jokes.
Minimal maintenance and on pracend once daily. Front shoes only. For LEASE only to an approved home. Mid 🥕,🥕🥕🥕

PORK CHOP is a 9 year old medium. Auto changes, suitable for cross rails to 2’6. He is a love bug and wants to please. Teaches walk and walk trot lessons as well. If the kid has a really loose leg he will build at the canter. I think it just makes him a bit nervous. Has been shown in the hunters, jumpers, and eq rings at the locals and has also been to Tryon. Same pony on and off property. If headed into the hunters he will require some prep. He loves his job and does have a slight motor when on course. Minimal maintenance and barefoot.

LEASED 🤍 Who needs to borrow the most perfect pony for an IN BARN care lease OR to an approved barn for a few 🥕🥕🥕🥕. Sweet Pea has been out grown for now and wants to teach some other kiddos how to trot, canter, jump, etc! She is 14.2, 9 years old, barefoot, and the most well behaved quarter pony there ever was! She lives up to her name 1000 times over. Sweet Pea has taught beginner beginners and also can step into the show ring right off the trailer. Has shown up to 2’6 at the locals and has played at WEC and Tryon as well. She has been used for IEA as well as IHSA and is always a perfececy behaved citizen. Same pony on and off property, ZERO funny business and will teach a kid very patiently. Squeeze ride 😉(we don’t kick), can go in a spur if the child knows how to ride in one, and responds to a crop as well. Gets along well with others. She requires lots of treats and kisses and she is PERFECT, buuuut I do need her back eventually so she can teach my babies when they are old enough and big enough to ride her.

To say we had a BLAST in Tryon is an understatement! This was a new experience for a few of these girls and all of them handled the weekend with grace and hard work! Amazing rounds were had by all, and of course, we learned a lot too!! (That’s the most important part!) I love these girls and their mama’s so very much and am so blessed and thankful for this little barn family! 🤍
