The Girl Scout troop we have been working with completed their second of three self-defense classes at WI-MAFC last week...

The Girl Scout troop we have been working with completed their second of three self-defense classes at WI-MAFC last week, where they focused on Stage 2: Grab Escapes. They reviewed their striking from last time, and put it together in a sequence with standing up in base, a wrist grab escape, and a two-handed choke escape into an armpit armbar. They will be learning Stage 3: Ground Defense in their last class tonight! Thank you to Instructors Pierce, Ibric, and Keogh for teaching the workshop. See you soon, Girl Scouts!!!

You might have a lot of strong feelings about WI-MAFC being closed this week for the last of our mini summer breaks, and that's ok! Let them show on your face 😖😭😵‍💫😴

Luckily, we will be holding some Open Gyms to make the break more tolerable:
